One of my PhD case studies was based on a close collaboration with Nick and Norman, two former paritcipants in the DIY-Abilities workshops. We called our project Empowering Hacks because our chosen aim was “to produce disabled tools at a cheaper rate but with a more cutsomisable outcome”.
