As part of the “Conductive Glass” workshops organised by Justin Marshall and Jeff Samiento, I developed the Light Writer prototype. The project was realised in a series of explorative workshops at the Design School at Northumbria School of Design and the National Glass Centre in Sunderland. The workshops brought together academics and artists from diverse backgrounds to explore the potentials for blending techniques of artisanal glassmaking with digital fabrication and electronics.
